SD+R Clothing
The Bad Boys of Canadian Fashion

From the moment of inception, Rock & Roll has influenced fashion. Tight, tapered and pegged pants, fitted T-shirts and black leather jackets were all good enough for Elvis. Since the very start of Rock music and its induction into popular culture, one desire has dominated – the aspiration to be, act and look like a rock star. Many may try and some may fail, but all will feel the need to rip holes in their jeans, attach safety pins, rivets and wear a chain after experiencing one of their runway shows. Tyler Scherer, Kyle Deinstadt and Teddy Lawson are SD+R Clothing, SEX DRUGS AND ROCK N ROLL.

At their new flagship store, 316 Adelaide St. W, located in the heart of the Fashion District of Toronto, the SD+R boutique incorporates a clothing line as well as custom-made pieces of deconstructed and reconstructed apparel. There you can find intrinsic originality in clothing that includes combining zippers, studs, grommets, screen printing patchworks and tattoo-influenced designs over jeans, T-shirts, hoodies, and select leather garments. A few pieces for women are also available in the form of mini-skirts, Dresses, Tights, TŐs, and denim jacketsÉ

Originally from Calgary the SD+R design team have always had their eye on whatŐs different. Working from the inside out has enabled them to develop a highly innovative look that is inspired by trends in metropolitan fashion circles. Combined with the roots of rock & roll, punk street wear, rising club trends and an eye for rebellion. Teddy, Kyle and Tyler make it their mandate to develop the SD+R brand to cater not only to the metropolitan fashionista but also to allow an individual to express their unique fashion sense.
